This is crime scene photo #6. This photo was shot mid-range, expanding the vantage of crime scene photo #2. In the background, on the chest of drawers is a crown JonBenét won at a pageant. Mysteriously, it goes missing in later photos taken of her room after the discovery of her body. Her pink book bag is hung on the handle of the door. The Beauty & The Beast pillow, which sits at the end of her bed, was put in that position by Patsy Ramsey via her 1998 interview. The trunk at the end of her bed is jutted open with clothing, and the second floor laundry room is visible to the left.
Our vantage point slides slightly to the left in Crime Scene photograph #7. The book bag on the door is still visible. Her dollhouse which appears to be about the same height as JonBenet is on the left. In the background, a clothing basket sits on the floor and an ironing board is visible in the laundry area.
Mid-range photographs shot at two different times on the 26th of December, showing the chest of drawers in JonBenet’s bedroom. In the photo at the bottom, JonBenet’s crown is missing. A few other items have also disappeared and others are rearranged. We will dig into the missing crown later in the crime scene photo series.
